The company founders created T.O. Student Tutoring during their sophomore year at Thousand Oaks High School. They expanded the company to its current size, and while they no longer control the day-to-day operations of the company, they still direct its overall direction.

Hi everyone, I’m Matt. I’m 18 years old and a Freshman at University of Pennsylvania: Wharton School of Business. My love for business stemmed from T.O. Student Tutoring, my fondest achievement from High School. I graduated with a 4.72 weighted GPA, and was one of the class valedictorians. While business will always be my #1, I have enjoyed a number of different pursuits including Science Fair, bridge building, and photography (here’s my photography gallery if you want to take a look). I also played trumpet in the High School marching band, and was the trumpet and French Horn section leader. During the winter, you’ll often find me up on the slopes, skiing.

Hello, I’m Alex. I’m 17 years old and a Senior at Thousand Oaks High School. I am great at helping and working with younger people; I am currently applying to become a member of Link Crew at our school, which is a program that helps ease the transition for incoming freshman as they make their way into high school. I get along easily with others and always lend a hand in whatever I am able to.
Some more personal facts about me:
I am at school from 7am-2pm, with 5 AP classes. I am in Statistics AP right now and have straight A’s so far. I play the alto saxophone as part of the concert band, marching band, and PM Jazz band at TOHS. Outside of school, I listen to music, play music, read, and hang out with friends. I love discovering new music and watching the latest critically-acclaimed movies. You can also find me outside of the house either taking a walk or riding my bike around the neighborhood on a nice day as I explore.

Hi, I’m Grant King. I am currently a 17-year old Senior at Thousand Oaks High School. I work well with younger kids, and have already tutored a number of students, thus having valuable experience. I have also helped my brother in 9th grade countless times. In addition to this, I have provided assistance to my peers hosting numerous study sessions.
On a more personal note:
I am available after 3 pm everyday. I am currently enrolled in 5 AP's including Statistics and Physics. I have been a straight A student throughout my academic career. In terms of extracurricular activities, I enjoy playing the tenor saxophone as part of the Thousand Oaks High School Band. In addition to this, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as volunteering at local schools. Outside of this, you are likely to find me watching a movie, riding a bike, or playing with my dog.
