                                                            Adam Ginell
                                                                          (Currently Booked)

Hi! My name is Adam Ginell and I am a junior at Thousand Oaks High School. I am a really good student and I understand subjects very easily. I am currently taking Chemistry AP, Math Analysis honors, English 11 AP, and Spanish 3. My best subjects are Spanish, chemistry, math, and English, at any levels. I work hard in school and I always do my best.
I have been very involved not only at Thousand Oaks High School, but also in the community as well. At TOHS, I am actively involved with the Link Crew program where we work to help freshman get adjusted to high school and also make it a better experience for them. This includes participating in the tutoring program at lunch. I have worked as a student aide in the religious school at my temple. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and I feel that I know about the subjects I've learned and it will be beneficial for me to pass on my knowledge. Some milestones in my life include earning my Eagle Scout Award with the Boy Scouts of America Troop 761. As a leader in my troop, I am able to teach kids the skills they need to know and help them to achieve their Eagle Scout Awards. I am also involved with the boys’ soccer and boys’ volleyball programs at TOHS. Regardless of my commitments to sports, I am still able to maintain good grades and I have achieved Scholar Athlete awards from both sports. I do a lot of volunteering with my temple as well. I work as a student aide in classrooms with kids ranging from age six to eight and I feel that I work really well with the kids. In addition, I play the flute and piano and I participate in the California Lutheran University Wind Ensemble. I look forward to working with you!

Taran Moriates

Hey, I’m Taran Moriates, a senior at Thousand Oaks High School. I, like most of the other tutors here, am a good student with a 4.0 unweighted GPA in all Honors and AP classes, but I don’t feel like that fully defines me or encompasses who I am. This year I am taking 6 AP classes: AP Government/Economics, AP English, AP Art History, AP Physics, AP Calculus, and AP Spanish. I am one of two entertainment editors for the school newspaper, The Lancer, which stems from my love of music and writing. Also, I’m the president of CSF, member of the Health Science Major, volunteer at Los Robles Hospital, and a volunteer at my church in the Confirmation program. In my free time I like to play the guitar, hang out with friends, listen to music, be with family, go to the beach, longboard, snowboard, and eat, a lot. I am a caring, understanding, hard working, and an easily relatable person who will try to make learning as fun and relaxed as possible. I hope to be a good role model as well as a good tutor. I’m available every day except for Thursdays and can tutor in any subject. I am glad I have this opportunity to help others. Looking forward to meeting you!
