In-Home Tutoring

We understand that your schedule is busy, and the benefits of In-Home Tutoring, and because of that, we strive to offer In-Home Tutoring at our normal price of $25/hr.

Unfortunately, since all of our tutors are from Thousand Oaks High School, high gas prices, and the time spent driving makes that economically impossible for out Tutors to drive to distant clients.

If you live in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, or Westlake Village, in-home tutoring will cost $25/hour.

For cities outside our range however, however, we charge $.50/min. in both directions, with a 10 minute grace period in both directions.

Remember, you can always choose to meet at the Thousand Oaks Public Library for $25/hr tutoring.

Starting location is always Thousand Oaks High School, and driving time is based off of Google Maps.

To find the cost of your In-Home Tutoring:
1. Click on the "A" below.
2. Click "Get Directions"
3. In new page, enter your Home Address as "B"
4. Choose shortest driving time.

• If less than 10 minutes, In-Home Tutoring is $25/hr.
• If more than 10 minutes, add $1 for each minute beyond 10.  (e.g: 15 minutes in both directions, would result in a $5 surcharge, and 1 hour of tutoring would cost $30)

We'd also like to remind you that California law states that “tutors are prevented from tutoring if a parent or responsible adult is not present during an in-home tutoring session." So please, either have a parent present while at home or arrange tutoring to be in the public library.  Thank you!
